ENERGY ALTERNATIVES

The Chevron advertisements are compelling.  Russia, Iran and Qatar have 58% of the world's natural gas reserves.  The U.S. has 3%.

Expanding and diversifying energy sources by using natural gas could lead to lower fuel prices and greater energy security.  Will you join us?.  Then there are other suggestions that get political, like opening up more oil exploration sites in the U.S or lifting the tax on imported ethanol which also locally has lots of room to grow.

However, people should immediately consider transport alternatives for an immediate impact on consuming less gas when prices are sky rocketing. In the near term, public transport must be revamped so that more people will drive to bus and train stations rather than to work.
