COMMUTE-BICYCLING - HOW CLOSE IS THE U.S.?

Building a better bike lane reported in the Wall Street Journal of May 4, 2007 was about how the bike-friendly cities in Europe are launching a new attack on car culture. Can the U.S catch up?
