Research shows that the most powerful way to learn new information is to convert it into Questions and Answers.
There is a strong organizational bias towards answers. What you have, from your structure to your work procedures and management style is your answer. You just feel comfortable with it and do not want change. Usually staffs that poke questions view as troublemakers, and that is very sad indeed. Questions are powerful tools for gathering facts and possible pitfalls. Questions stretch the mind to seek better ways of performing. How can we make this work better and faster? Is there a better way to do this? What I am doing, does it contribute value? Is it value-added or of no-value? Why am I doing this? What is the result of what I am doing? These are general questions, just try answering them and see how meaningful your work can be.
