Most of us never pay much attention to the zero but do get excited if if follows other numbers. That what makes Zero history a good read.

HAPPY ENDING

Happy Facts is all of behavioral economics. There is so much written about happiness and so much concern about happiness, that an entire cottage industry has risen on how to make people happy. Searching for happiness has taken the road of searching for the true God, sort of.  But meet an ailing person, and the only happiness that they long for, is death, for a happy ending.  No one likes to suffer, period, even in days before dying.

IS THE SKY FALLING?

If we know that an asteroid is heading towards earth in ten years from now, it is worth spending money to build a defense system to avert the crisis. Scientists tell us that there are over 1,000 NEO’s (Near Earth Objects) revolving around the same path as mother earth. If any of these asteroids change path and collides with earth, that would extinct the human race.

Today we live in a world where the probability of destroying earth totally by man-made disaster is much greater than nature's fury. 

NATURE'S FURY

The size of our world in comparison to other planets make our earth and ourselves look puny.  Not included in the picture though is the many asteroids and comets that float around the universe of such size that can strike mother earth to smatterings.

WHEN FAHRENHEIT DOES EQUAL CENTIGRADE

You know that 32 degrees Fahrenheit (F) equals ‘O” Centigrade (C). Though the temperature feel is the same the numbers are different 32 vs 0.  Does the temperature feel and numbers (F, C) equal each other at any time?

NATURAL THREATS FROM UP ABOVE

The speed of the United Nations is considered too glacial to even stop an asteroid hitting the earth. Who will then take charge?
