EXERCISING - COLD OR HOT WEATHER

Winter is is full bloom in most of the US with it more severe in some parts of the country.  That does not mean you should hibernate for the winter. Go our and get your exercise to stay in shape throughout the winter.

ONE WORLD, TWO WHEELS

One world, two wheels is a great initiative by Trek. People in Europe and North America (including children) are overweight and one of those reasons is that they sit too much, either moving too much in a vehicle or sitting in front of TV's and other electronic media for too long (convenience and demands of modern living).  Additionally, the consumption of fuels for transportation, and the rising fuel costs make a bigger hole in family budgets in addition to bigger holes in the ozone layer.

In my almost 50 years of swimming experience from long distance swimming to life-guard I can testify that swimming can be very dangerous if the swimmer exceeds limits of ability or boundary.

BICYCLE TRAILS

Now communities in Westchester can join communities with bragging rights to call themselves part of a 3,000-mile bike and pedestrian trail stretching down the entire Atlantic seaboard of the USA. Please read the Greenway project designates paths through Westchester.  Very soon you may be able to ride from Calais, Maine to Key West, Florida.  Wow.
